Swatch for Yuki

YukiのSwatch。

ShibuiCima(70%スーパーベビーアルパカ、30%ファインメリノ)とShibui Staccato(70%スーパーウォッシュメリノ、30%シルク)の2本どりで編むのですが、すごく編みやすい！

肌触りも最高。

模様編みはとても楽しいです。

YukiのKALは明日10/1開始。私も編み始めようかな。と思います。

Relax mini

大人気のRelax。



6歳児サイズで作っていて、90%までできていたんですが。

さっき全部解いてしまいました。

実際に着せてみたら、サイズが特に、編んだ自分自身が全然気に入らなくて。
子ども達にもOKもらって解きました。
また1からRelaxを編み直すか、違うデザインにするか、しばし悩みます。

子ども達は、ほどくのを手伝ってもらったら、楽しんでました。笑

Yuki 、糸到着。Yarns for Yuki

amirisu Fall 2013に載っていたデザインで、絶対編もうと思ったものが、100 Diamondsの他にもう一つあります。

Yuki

色のコントラストや、雰囲気が、もう好みど真ん中！

それなので、見てすぐ、Ravelry の Queueに入れておいたんです。

そしたら、ある日、デザイナーさんからKALのお誘いが。

どうやら、QueueにYukiを入れていた人全員にメッセージを送っていたみたいです。

まだKALというものに参加したことがなく、KALに参加してみたかったのと、世界中のひとと一緒に編むのってなんか楽しそう、って思って、すぐに参加表明しました。

それから、パターンを購入して、糸を手配するという...。順番が逆な気もしますが、まぁよし。

I really like this in several reasons, but especially contrast of colors and the impression this design gives.

So when I first saw this, I put it in Queue in Ravelry. Then a while later I received a message from the designer inviting me to the KAL.

She seemed to send all the member who put Yuki in queue in Ravelry...

Anyway, I decided to join the KAL.It would be my first KAL in my life and I thought nit would be fun!

糸は指定のShibui Knitsの糸を使うことにし、Yarn Packをオーダー。

コントラストカラーはすぐに決まったものの、メインカラーで散々悩みました。

コントラストカラーはPoppyでオレンジ系なので、何が合うか？Suit(紺色ですね) とFjord(グリーングレーというかなんとも表現の難しい色、でも大好きな色)の間を行ったり来たり。

結局Suitに決めて注文したものの、品切れ中で、最終的にはFjordになったのでした。

I decided to use Shibui knits yarns which is suggested very quickly.But it was difficult to decide yarn colors. I chose Poppy for Contrast color first, but I couldn't decide Main color. I narrowed down the choices to 2,Suit or Fjord.But i wondered which suits Poppy better...?

I ordered Suit after a long consideration, but they told us it is out of stock. So finally I got Fjord for Main color!

紆余曲折を経て、やっと糸が到着。

美しい...!

編み物計画 Plan for the winter!

だいぶ秋っぽくなってきましたね。

今年の秋冬の編み物計画を、最近の通勤中に考えています。
自分用はもちろん自分で決めるのですが、親友の娘たち用のは、親友に提案し、OKをもらったり、却下されたり。やっと、だいぶ固まってきました。

I think Autumn has come!
These days I'm making a knitting plan for this autumn to winter when commuting.
The ones for myself are of course on my decision, but I need to make a proposal to my best friend and get an approval (!) from her  for the knits for girls(my best friends' daughters).
Finally we finished consideration!

ボーダーのデザインですが、ボーダーにはせず、単色(糸自体が段染め)で編む予定です。
I will use a single color for this even though this is designed for enjoying strips.

KALに参加するつもりです。
I'll join the KAL!(This is my first KAL in my life!)

あとは。

Deep Forest


みてたら段々気になってきたデザイン。青系の糸で編む予定なので、Deep Sea になりそう。
I will use blue colorway yarns, so it would be sort of "Deep Sea".

模様編みが美しいです。大人用もあるみたいで、気になります。

男の子用みたいなんですが、これは、絶対編む！と宣言しました。笑
襟元のデザインが好きです。
おそらく、単色で編みます。

I love this design, especially the neckline !
I will probably use one colorway.

冬が待ち遠しいです！

Goldilocks

今編んでいるものについて、その2です。

私が何かを編むのは、専ら親友一家(親友、旦那さん + 娘たち)、そして自分に、がメインです。

特に親友の娘たち用のニットは、小さくて早く編めること、色で遊べること、そしてニットが似合うこと！が理由で、よく編みます。

そんな彼女達用に何かいいデザインはないか、とRavelry内を探索していたところ、かわいいニットワンピを発見し、編み始めました。

"Goldilocks"

6歳児用なので、割と大きめですが、きっともっと小さい子用だと、更にかわいいんでしょうねー。

Three Irish Girls の　Bamboo Cotton Fingering という糸で、Charmed,I'm Sure という色の糸を使って編んでいます。バンブーの糸なので、夏糸になるのでしょうか。

本格的な冬になる前に編み上げたいと思いつつ、スカート部のメリヤス砂漠を頑張って旅しています。

The one in progress, vol 2.

I knit mostly for my best friend's family(my best friend,her husband and their daughters) and myself.
Especially the knits for my best friend's daughters are my favorite option, because:
1. The size is small so I can knit it so quick !
2. The vivid colors suit them ! I won't wear vivid colors but I can enjoy knitting with vivid colors...
3. The knit suit them well !

Recently I was looking for a nice pattern for them in Revelry, then I found this:

"Goldilocks"

They are six years old, so it's a bit large, but I can imagine the smaller size will look more cute!

I use Bamboo Cotton Fingering from Three Irish Girls, with color "Charmed, I'm Sure".

I'd like to finish this before winter comes, as this is Bamboo yarn. 

STRING THEORY Hand Dyed Yarn CAPER SOCK

仕事から帰ってきたら、Yarnaholicさんで買った毛糸が届いていました。

STRING THEORY Hand Dyed Yarn

CAPER SOCK のLIGHT TEALという色。

私はこの色が大好きで、ついつい選んでしまうのです。しかもこの糸、めちゃくちゃ手触り良く、もっちもち。

この糸で編みたいものは、コレ。

色と手触りを活かせそうです。

早く編みたいなぁー、と思いつつ、編みかけが多すぎて、しばらくは手をつけられない予想。。。11月ぐらいのCast on でしょうか。

今回糸を買ったYarnaholicさんは、私が手染め毛糸にハマったきっかけでもあります。

今まで安い毛糸ばかり買っていて、手染め毛糸があること自体知らずにいたのですが、2012年12月に偶然Yarnaholicさんを見つけ、それからいくつも買わせていただいています。

最初に購入したときに、色も質感も全然違う！と衝撃を受け、それからいろんなブランドのいろんな糸にチャレンジしています。

編みかけ、それぞれの糸についても、感想を書いていけたらいいなと思います。

100 Diamonds

今編んでいるものについて。

amirisu Fall 2013に載っていた100 Diamonds というショール。

エアコンに弱いので、一年中常に巻物をしているので、ショールやストールは必需品。
この100 Diamondsはデザインに一目惚れして、即編みはじめました。
といっても、自分で使うのか友達にあげるかはまだ決めていないのですが...

編みはじめてすぐ、これは楽しい！とハマりました。
チャートを見ながらじゃないと編めないけれど、四角い模様がどんどんできてくるのが、もっと、もっと、と編み続ける気持ちをかきたてます。

あまり編む時間が確保できなくて、遅々として進まないのが残念。でもなんとか早く完成させたいです。

About the shawl which I'm now knitting.

I found a charming shawl on amirisu Fall 2013 issue.

I don't like the air conditioner so I have a shawl with me all the time. 
When I saw this design for the first time, I felt I was falling in love with it. So I purchased it and cast on just after I saw it!

After casting on, I found myself  enjoying knitting this very very much.
 I need to check the chart very often, but as I see the square patterns appear after and after I knit, I feel like  I become eager to see square patterns more and more.

I'm kind of busy and a bit difficult to have enough time for knitting, so the progress is very slow. I'd like to finish this soon and see the completed form!!

棒針編みを始めたのは、はるか昔、10歳の頃ですが、最近になって本格的に編み始めました。もはや中毒...
どれくらいブログがかけるかわかりませんが、ブログはじめてみます。

I was 10 years old when I started knitting. Recently I got to be a serious(?) knitter. I think I'm addicted to it...
Although I'm not sure I can keep posting this blog very often,  I'm starting this blog anyway.
